A 12-year-old boy and two teens face murder charges for savagely beating an elderly man to death during a carjacking in Philadelphia.
The suspects are accused of attacking 70-year-old Chung Yan Chin during a violent carjacking on Dec. 2.
Prosecutors allege the teens approached Chin and knocked him to the ground in a violent attack, punching and kicking him in the face before making off with his Toyota Camry.
Chin was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, suffering from a brain injury and facial fractures. He died from his wounds weeks later, on Dec. 21.
The suspects, 18-year-old John Nusslein, 16-year-old Qiyam Muhammad, and a 12-year-old boy who was not identified but is being charged as an adult, now face murder charges.
