Usher has revealed that his Twitter account was hacked after social media users questioned why his tweets disappeared.
“Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” he wrote in a new tweet Sunday afternoon.

Usher was a trending topic for much of Sunday when people noticed that every tweet on his profile had been mysteriously removed. Some theorized that it may have stemmed from Diddy’s legal situation. The two were once friendly, though the singer has not spoken out about the Bad Boy mogul’s court drama. Nevertheless, it appears the “Superstar” vocalist was ready to put the rumors to bed, though social media continued to run with conspiracies. Ironically, his tweets have reappeared on his profile, which seems to suggest his account was briefly disabled by the hacker and not actually scrubbed. Singer Pink was also a topic of discussion, as her Twitter account had also been cleansed of many of its tweets, though it’s likely her profile underwent a similar glitch.
