After a longstanding investigation, Venus Williams is in the clear for the car accident that left one man dead. According to TMZ, Palm Beach Gardens police department announced the news on Wednesday, as they released their information from the investigation.

Although Williams still faces a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of the victim in the accident, officials say neither driver was in the wrong when the accident occurred in June.

According to the publication, Williams told her side of the story at the time of the wreck, saying she was “caught in the middle” of the intersection when the Barsons smashed into her car. She said there was a third driver in front of her that had turned as the light was turning, which officials say was a violation of Williams’ right of way. However, officials aren’t blaming the third driver for the crash either.
