Florida’s hip‑hop community is in mourning following the tragic death of Wam SpinThaBin. The 25‑year‑old rapper, once signed to Kodak Black’s Sniper Gang, was reportedly shot and killed after a confrontation that turned violent.
According to the Miami Herald, officers went to the 500 block of Northwest Sixth Avenue around 8:30 p.m. in Hallandale Beach, Florida after receiving reports of shots fired. They located Wam, who they confirmed was shot. He passed away at a hospital shortly after.
Known for tracks such as “Praying For Killing,” “No Attempts,”and the fan-favorite, “Yurda Twins,” Wam had been building momentum as one of South Florida’s most promising new voices.
His time under Sniper Gang gave him added exposure, introducing him to a wider audience and setting the stage for more major moves. He purchased his way out of his contract with Kodak in 2023. Still, he continued to make music and even spoke on getting sober following a terrifying drug overdose.
Fans and peers alike have already begun flooding social media with tributes, remembering him not just as an artist, but as a young man full of potential.
It remains unclear what led to the altercation. As of now, no suspects have been revealed.
