We Ain’t Goin’ Steady- Catching Feelings For Your Unavailable Man

Oops! You caught feelings for an unavailable man.  Happens to the best of us.

Whether it’s a man who is currently emotionally unavailable and not looking for a relationship, or a one in a relationship who caught your eye, it’s going to be trouble.

Women always go into situations thinking they can keep their feelings in check.  Like, “Girl, we’re just enjoying each other, whatever happens, happens.” We simply ignore that fact that spending time and having sex with someone that you like causes your emotions to TURN UP.

That’s exactly how you become one of the following chicks:

•The “I’m gonna be faithful to him even though he continuously expressed he doesn’t want to be monogamous” chick.

•The “I’m different, I know he’s gonna leave his girlfriend for me” chick.

•The “let me have a baby to keep him” chick.

Now, if being one of these is fine with you, then cool.  But, to try to prevent these situations make sure to take certain steps before you fall for your unavailable man.

1. Don’t talk to him every day or see him every weekend. It’ll have your mind thinking you’re playing a different part.

2. Live in reality.  He might really rock with you, but he’s just not ready. Don’t force it.

3. Be available! Don’t turn down a date with an available man because you’re waiting on someone else.

If you can have sex with a man you’re into without catching feelings, hats off to you.  If you’re like most women who cannot, set yourself guidelines and stay strong!
