Ladies for me the fall is comfort food season. Nothing says comfort to me like a bowl of banana pudding. This is an easy no bake version that is sure to put a smile on your ballers face. In addition to serving in a big bowl like above you can also serve in parfait dishes which makes for great presentation!
2 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract (a sprinkle of fresh ground vanilla bean adds great flavor!)
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16 ounce) package vanilla wafers
14 bananas, sliced ( I slice the bananas as I use them so they do not brown)
In a large mixing bowl, beat pudding mix and milk 2 minutes. Blend in condensed milk until smooth. Stir in vanilla and fold in whipped topping. Layer wafers, bananas and pudding mixture in a glass serving bowl. Chill until serving.
1)crack some of the wafers and sprinkle on top as a garnish
2) bits of toffee are a sweet addition and gourmet touch sprinkle on top of the whipped topping layers
