Woman Laws 11-15: What Every Ballerific Woman Should Live By

Back by popular demand I am bringing you more Woman Laws. If you haven’t read the first 10, these are just laws and commandments that every Ballerific woman should live by. So without further ado here are the Woman Laws 11-15. 

 

Woman Law #11 – Thou shall not fight over a man – Look, they’re not fighting over us! If a man is cheating on us we’ve got to learn to stop getting angry at the other woman FIRST and staying with the man. If you’re going to keep the dirty dog who cheated on you then you can’t even get mad at the other woman. Now if you reek havoc on his ass FIRST then i’m not against getting at the other woman on principle (only if she knew about you two). But face it, before she knew about you two, he knew about you two.

 

Woman Law #12 – Never make excuses – There is nothing worse than a person who lives their life making excuses. Whether it be for themselves or other people, it’s time to grow up and (wo)man up. Understand that you can’t always throw the terms “if it’s meant to be it will be” or “everything happens for a reason” to avoid doing for yourself. It’s time to be responsible for your own actions and own up. Everything happens for a reason, but you are that reason!

 

Woman Law #13 – Thou Shall Not Be A Nickel Looking For A Dime – Beyonce made it cool to throw around the word “independent” and for some reason, more of us are saying we are independent when we are not. We want a man with his own car, college degree, house, 6 figure income and no kids but we’ve got 2 children under the age of 5, a high school diploma, a $10 an hour call center job and a new car that just got repossessed. I’m not saying you should lower your standards but I am saying you are who you attract. Sometimes if all you attract are ain’t shit men, something about you ain’t shit. Work on yourself first. Become that dime that you are desperately in search for. 

 

Woman Law #14 – Life Isn’t A Fairytale – Come to grips with this! Know that life isn’t a fairy tale, you may find your knight in shining armor eventually but I guarantee it won’t all be unicorns and rainbows. He may push you down a few times before he ever sweeps you off your feet. You may have to go out to the enchanted forest and find him on your own because he’s not coming to the kingdom looking for you. It’s okay, roll with the punches and move on.

 

Woman Law #15 – He Does Not Define Me – Break ups happen. If you tell a man “You complete me” it’s as if you’re saying you were incomplete to begin with. No! We will stop the use of that phrase now. No one completes you, they can only compliment you! If a man leaves you, his loss! He doesn’t know what prize he had in his possession anyway. Theres no need to feel less than just because he is gone. Theres someone out there for everyone and maybe he just wasn’t it.
