“You Gotta Use What You Got To Get What You Want” Do Women That Use Their Looks (Or Body) For Financial Gain Have An Advantage Over The Modest Woman In Dating & Success?

Blogged By carmenroxanna

Diamond might have said it’s a “Ronnie Hoe Quote” in #PlayersClub but did Ronnie have some truth to her statement, “You Gotta Use What You Got To Get What You Want”? With open sexuality being so prevalent and acceptable these days, women can bank on their looks to get ahead financially…and has forever changed the spectrum of opportunity and success for women.

Believe it or not, some people believe ANYTIME a woman barters sex with a man for money or gifts is considered engaging in prostitution. According to Dictionary.com, prostitution is the practice or occupation of engaging in sexual activity with someone for payment.  Does this definition apply to dating as well? Does this definition apply to career elevation? Think about it.

How many women say, “If he can ask me for some ass, I can ask for some money!” Or how many say, “Yea you can come see me, but you gotta come with bill money!” Or, “HE GOTTA PAY FOR THIS!” Implying that in order to have her sexually or romantically, he has to provide some type of monetary benefit. Right? Even women on social media, the “Instagram models” for lack of better terms, rise to fame from exuding so much sexuality online and being “bad.” The promiscuous modeling photos, the Snapchat filter videos of them lip-syncing with no top on and the booty on the sink photos garner so much attention, they are almost guaranteed to be discovered by someone that can upgrade their lifestyle. Are any of these women identified as prostitutes because they demand financial gain for sex? Are the women who use their looks to get ahead in their career “cheating” success?

On the other hand, you have women that don’t care much about money at all. When it comes to dating, they care more about how they are being treated, not what they are being treated to. So for them, they can date or have sex with a man and not want or expect any type of payment. When it comes to work, they would rather work a 9-5 or go into business for themselves but use more of their charm and technical skills to progress in their field. They may or may not have the best appearance, but their looks don’t dictate their path in life at all. Are the women who don’t seek monetary gain from men for sex or relationships easy? Are they destined to take the longer more difficult path to success because they suppress their sexuality and “work harder”?

Ladies, where do you fit in? Which is more important to you, respect or money? Fellas, which do you prefer? Do you believe there really is a comparison to prostitution when it comes to dating? #LetsTalkAboutIt
