A pop-up museum in Young Dolph’s honor is set to go on tour, visiting a handful of U.S. cities in 2023.
On Wednesday, Dolph’s record label Paper Route Empire and Trap Music Museum announced they’re launching the Dolphland Pop-Up Museum Tour.
The label’s CEO, Daddy-O, says the museum will celebrate Dolph’s “character” and motivate the youth and entrepreneurs.
“The goal of the pop-up museum is to showcase the character of a leader and businessman,” Daddy-O said. “And to highlight the journey of someone whose early beginnings may mirror that of many young kids and entrepreneurs starting. So that they may draw inspiration to keep pushing on their own endeavors.”
Attendees of the museum can expect to see a display of Dolph’s personal items as well as “curated art.” In addition, each person who visits Dolphland will automatically be entered into a $100,000 contest. The lucky winner will be announced following the end of the tour.
“Dolph has a great base of fans, and he loved going out and engaging with them. We wanted to do something that still provided a way for that engagement beyond just the music,” Dolph’s manager and Street Execs co-founder Allen Parks said. “We brought the idea to the Trap Music Museum, and they were excited to help bring a dope experience to life for all who will attend.”
The tour will kick off in New York City between January 13 and January 15. Dolphland will be traveling through Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, and other cities, giving fans an unforgettable experience.
