A young Texas mother who was six months pregnant was fatally shot during a drive-by in Houston on Sunday afternoon. According to People, Brianna Navarro, 22, was riding in the passenger seat while riding in a car with her boyfriend and 2-year-old son. They became aware of a group of men following them in a car, and eventually, the vehicle rear-ended them. Then the vehicle opened fire on them, and Navarro was struck.
Her boyfriend saw paramedics nearby and pulled over, but Navarro was pronounced dead at the scene.
Navarro’s boyfriend told police that he had gotten into an argument with the men at a convenience store before the shooting.
“If anybody saw anything that happened to my granddaughter, please don’t be scared,” Loretto Romo, Navarro’s grandmother, told ABC13. “Call the police department.”
