Young Thug will take the stage at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on December 16 for a benefit concert titled “Hometown Hero.”
Thug announced the news on Monday through the arena’s official Instagram account and is billed as “Young Thug & Friends.”
Tickets for the performance will be available starting Wednesday, October 8, at 10 a.m. EST on Ticketmaster.
The benefit concert follows the release of Thugger’s fourth studio album, UY Scuti, which dropped on September 26.
Just two days later, on September 28, he performed his first free concert outside Atlanta’s Fulton County Courthouse, the same location connected to his recent trial in the YSL RICO case.
During that performance, he delivered a heartfelt message urging an end to violence in his community.
The Hometown Hero concert is part of a plea deal that allows Young Thug to perform in Atlanta for charitable purposes. The agreement enables him to use his platform to give back to his hometown while remaining in compliance with legal requirements.
Fans are already showing excitement for the December performance. The Hometown Hero concert offers a chance for supporters to experience a live performance while contributing to a charitable cause in Atlanta.
