Zillionaire Doe recently sat down with BT and Ferrari Simmons of The Baller Alert Show, where he dished on what led to him signing with Yo Gotti.

“I ended up dropping this video, dropping this video called ‘Trap Star.’ I dropped the ‘Trap Star’ video. I dropped that b***h. N***a, once I dropped that b***h, every label in the world was calling,” he said, reflecting on how fast his buzz started growing.
Before music, Zillionaire Doe was heavily influenced by Nipsey Hussle and had no intentions of signing to a label.
“I studied the Nipsey’s. I’m like, I don’t even want to sign…I’m straight on this s**t. I already came in with everything I wanted,” he explained.
He kept it independent at first, but once Trap Store dropped, the offers came pouring in.
“Both [CMG and QC] was on the line, plus 20 other motherf**kers,” he added.
When Yo Gotti reached out, the decision became clear.
“I f**ked with Gotti…Gotti is more serious… It’s an opportunity, you know what I’m saying, clean myself up, go legit…it was like God’s plan right in my face.”
Now with CMG, Zillionaire Doe is quickly becoming a standout on the label and within the Memphis music scene.
