Deeply shaken, Mowry learned that her mammogram test results came back abnormal.
“What that means is that we’d like to schedule you to come in for a biopsy as soon as possible so we can get some further insight,” the woman on the phone said.
While Mowry’s assistant attempted to console her, the news stunned the actress as she explained how the results triggered something in her far deeper than a health scare. In a confessional, Mowry shared how much she has invested in her mental health and revealed that cancer has claimed the lives of her grandmother and aunt.
“I feel like right when I’m working on my mental health because of what I’m going through, now this is my health,” Mowry stated. She continued, “I have been doing so much to take care of my mental health. I’ve been meditating, I’ve been journaling, but I’m scared. I don’t know what to expect.”
Nonetheless, her assistant reassured her that everything would be okay and reminded her not to think negatively until she learned more about the results.
“Let’s not jump the gun,” Ciara tells Mowry. “They didn’t say that you have cancer. Let’s not self-diagnose.”
She later added in a confessional, “When we’re in a situation like this, I’m always gonna be that sounding board. Get it out. It’s better out than in. She has an amazing team of doctors, a very well-rounded team of doctors, and there’s no need to worry.”
As of now, it’s. unknown what the results of her biopsy were.

Even on shows such as “Basketball Wives” and “WAGS,” many of these women are highlighted for their own accomplishments.
However, four of them have thrived without putting their relationships on full display.
Savannah James, the wife of NBA icon LeBron James, is a philanthropist and businesswoman. She recently launched her own podcast, “Everybody’s Crazy,” alongside friend April McDaniel, where they dive into relationship and life matters. Additionally, she is the backbone of her thriving family, which also includes Los Angeles Lakers Rookie Bronny James, NBA prospect Bryce James, and daughter Zhuri.
Ayesha Curry may be married to NBA superstar Stephen Curry, but she has launched a successful cooking empire on her own. She has released several cookbooks, including “The Full Plate” and “The Seasoned Life.” Additionally, she hosted “Ayesha’s Home Kitchen,” which ran for two seasons. She is also part owner of a restaurant chain called International Smoke.
On the NFL side, Ciara, the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson, was a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and dancer before she became a wife. With chart-toppers such as “Goodies,” “One, Two Step,” “Body,” and “Promise,” Ciara’s illustrious career brought her international success before she said “I do” in July 2016. Despite having four children and her husband’s ever-evolving career, Ciara continues to tour, recently hitting the road with Missy Elliott. She also recently launched a collection with fashion retailer Bebe.
Gisele Bündchen, formerly married to NFL legend Tom Brady, is a world-famous supermodel who has graced the cover of Vogue on several occasions. She has also walked the runway for brands such as Giorgio Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Chanel. Though she stepped away from full-time modeling, she remains active with business ventures, including her cookbook, “Nourish.”

“I learned about this later, but they were trying to give my song to Britney Spears,” Ciara said. She was quick to point out that the pop icon wasn’t behind the move, adding, “I know Britney wasn’t the one trying to take my song, because I love Britney.”
At the time, Ciara was a new artist, and the label had Britney in mind, as she was already a massive star. But Ciara knew how special “Goodies” was for her. “That song was my baby. ‘Goodies’ is where everything began for me,” she shared, reflecting on how pivotal the track was to her career.
While imagining what it would have been like if Britney sang the track, Ciara admitted, “I bet you those goodies would have sounded nice coming from her.” But ultimately, she knew the song belonged to her.
In the end, “Goodies” stayed with Ciara, launching her career and becoming one of the biggest hits of the early 2000s. “It’s crazy to think about, but it all worked out,” she added.

While reminiscing, Ciara, 38, couldn’t help but gush about how she immediately knew Wilson, the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, was her future husband.
“When you know, you know,” Ciara said with a smile. “From the moment we sat down, we got lost in conversation, so much so that we completely forgot to eat!” That undeniable chemistry was the start of something special for the couple, who first met in 2015.
After that first date, Ciara and Wilson couldn’t stop thinking about each other. In fact, the couple has shared their post-date confessions over the years. “He told his friend right after we left, ‘She’s the one,’” Ciara revealed. And the feeling was mutual—Ciara wasted no time calling her best friend Yolie to share the exciting news. “I told her, ‘I don’t want to jinx anything, but…’ And before I could even finish, she asked, ‘He’s the one?’ And I just said, ‘Yes!’”
Ciara had previously been engaged to rapper Future, with whom she shares her son Future Zahir. However, she felt confident about the new chapter unfolding with Russell. After that initial date, she introduced Wilson to her son and father on the same day. The meeting solidified what Ciara already knew—that Wilson was the perfect match for her and her family.
“We were all together in the house, my dad in the living room, and Future was crawling on the floor,” Ciara recalled. But it was a small moment that really captured her attention. “There was a silver chair about to fall in the kitchen, and Russell just slid across the room so smoothly and caught it. It was so sexy, but also so sweet,” she added, laughing. “In that moment, I knew—this man is something special.”
Since tying the knot in 2016, Ciara and Russell Wilson have continued to show the world what true partnership looks like. Now parents to three children—Sienna, Win, and Amora—the couple balances their high-profile careers with family life.

In the early 2010s, bodycon bandage dresses became another staple within the brand. However, things came to a head in April 2017 when the company announced it was closing all of its retail stores. While bankruptcy loomed, the company was able to dodge an official filing by entering an agreement with its landlords. From there, Bebe ran their company exclusively online and in discount department stores such as Burlington and TJ Maxx.
Fast forward to 2024, and the company appears to be quietly planning its mainstream return, with a bit of help from singer Ciara. Days ago, the “Body” star introduced her collection on Instagram. Her gear includes custom shirts that read Cici x Bebe. Another standout is a gold silk dress, which seems to have already sold out, as it is only available in black on the website. Ciara stated she wants to channel Y2K fashions with her collection, which includes 156 items, including sunglasses and shoes. The priciest piece in the Bebe x Cici line is only $299, which stays true to the brand’s typical price point. The least expensive piece is the Link Bracelet Crystal Sport Bezel Watch, which is $25.
Aside from Ciara, there still seems to be much interest surrounding the company, as they still have 685,000 followers on Instagram. It appears the company is looking to attract a younger audience by increasing its social media presence and collaborations. However, with the rise of fast fashion retailers such as Fashion Nova and Shein, Bebe could have a hard time connecting in this style economy.

Take Cardi B and Offset, for example. Outside of their three kids—Kulture, Wave, and their new baby girl—Offset has sons Jordan, Kody, and daughter Kalea. Cardi B has embraced her role as a stepmom, always posting fun videos and spending time with all the kids. You can tell she really loves them like her own.
Then there’s Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, another example of a blended family doing it right. Dwyane has two kids, Zaire and Zaya, from his first marriage, along with Xavier, who was born in 2013. Together, he and Gabrielle share Kaavia, who was born via surrogate. Even though Gabrielle never wanted kids at first, becoming a stepmom completely changed her mind, and now they all make it work beautifully.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are a more recent addition to the blended family crew. They got married in 2022 and welcomed their son Rocky in 2023. Travis has two other kids, Alabama and Asher, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler, while Kourtney has three kids of her own—Mason, Penelope, and Reign—with her ex, Scott Disick. Together, they’ve created a big, happy family.
Russell Wilson has always stepped up as a stepdad to Ciara’s son, Future. Over the years, Wilson has treated him like his own while he and Ciara have three other children together. His bond with baby Future is undeniable, and he’s proven to be a devoted father figure.
We can’t talk about stepfamilies without mentioning the Kravitz-Momoa family. Though Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa recently split, their blended family with Bonet’s daughter, Zoë Kravitz, from her marriage to Lenny Kravitz, is still strong. Jason has always shown nothing but love for Zoë, even calling her his “partner in crime” at times. He is also very close with Lenny Kravitz, who he called “the most beautiful man in the world.” Despite the breakup, the love between them remains solid, proving that blended families can stay close even after changes.
And, of course, we can’t leave out Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Together, they’ve raised a strong blended family. Will has a son, Trey, from his first marriage to Sheree Zampino. Jada has always embraced her role as Trey’s stepmom, treating him as her own alongside her and Will’s children, Jaden and Willow, proving that a blended family can be just as strong as any other.
On National Stepfamily Day, it’s important to celebrate the beauty in how these families come together and continue to support each other no matter what.

She posed for a photo with GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion, who were on tour together at the time. This outing was the second time Bey and Glo were spotted together publicly. In 2023, the pair smiled proudly in a video snapped at the Grammy’s. This moment marked one of Glo’s proudest industry interactions, signaling another major co-sign of the Memphis star.
Since the rise of her “FNF” in 2022, many of our favs have gravitated toward Glo. After quickly catching the eye of CMG frontman Yo Gotti, her southern sound attracted the masses. One of her early female rap supporters included Saweetie. The California rapper treated Glo and several of her friends to a trip to Los Angeles to shoot a video for the “FNF” remix. Sadly, their joint version never came out, but Glo became a popular figure among her veteran peers.
Here are just a few of the OG celebs who have gravitated toward GloRilla’s infectious energy.

The reunion of Soulja Boy and Bow Wow was especially sweet, considering their rocky history. While they joined forces for a Verzuz battle in 2021, their past was marked by a notable beef. After collaborating on “Marco Polo” in 2008, things took a turn when Soulja Boy dissed Bow Wow in 2009. This sparked a series of diss tracks, including “F*ck Bow Wow” from Soulja Boy and “What I Think About You” from Bow Wow. The tension lasted for years before they eventually squashed it and released a joint tape in 2016.
Seeing them perform together at SeaWorld brought back memories for both fans and social media spectators.
