In case you missed it, Brown retweeted a video of Lizzo sharing a message of encouragement that read, “Sending love to everyone in the world.” This was in response to the tense presidential election results. However, the former NFL star took a negative spin on Lizzo’s message, using the opportunity to mock her weight.
She hold the pen like she hold her ozempic shot….. https://t.co/OeAqDSasMx
— AB (@AB84) November 10, 2024
“She hold the pen like she hold her Ozempic shot,” he wrote, accusing the “Good as Hell” singer of using the popular weight loss and diabetic medication.
Rather than clapping back at Brown’s insults, Lizzo took a more self-empowering route. She posted a montage on Instagram featuring herself in swimsuits, captioning it, “Holding life like an Ozempic pen.”
Since her noticeable gym results over the past year, Lizzo has faced speculation that she used alternative methods to slim down. “South Park” even referenced her in a May 2024 episode, creating a fictional weight loss supplement named after her. For Halloween, she leaned into the joke, dressing up as the drug itself.
Brown hasn’t responded to Lizzo’s post, though he might be dealing with other controversies. Recently, a trans woman accused him of attempting to hook up with her despite his public anti-trans stance. Additionally, he sparked dating rumors with influencer Woah Vicky, who posted a cozy selfie and car photo with the athlete.

The messages detailed Brown expressing a desire to engage in a sexual encounter, though it remains unclear if the encounter ever took place. In the screenshots, Brown urges the woman to “come out.”
The messages surfaced at a time when Brown has been outspoken in his unwavering support of Donald Trump. Furthermore, Brown has faced accusations of homophobia on several occasions, making his alleged interest in a trans woman appear hypocritical.
Brown has yet to respond to the allegations, and it is unknown whether he was aware that the woman is transgender. In recent days, Brown has seemingly gone public with influencer Woah Vicky, who shared a photo of the two cozied up. She has also remained quiet regarding the screenshot.

Vicky didn’t keep the image up for long, but curious social media users quickly screenshot the “relationship reveal.”
Brown has not commented on his status with Vicky. However, he later shared his own photo with a different female companion. Brown has previously been linked to other high-profile women, including Keyshia Cole. Earlier this year, he sparked romance rumors after spending time with rapper Lil Kim, though she never confirmed or denied a relationship.

It’s unclear what’s really going on with these two. However, it’s not surprising they would cross paths, especially considering their shared support of Donald Trump.

During the interview, both denied having the disease, but Bell pointed out the harsh truth that they won’t know for sure until they’re gone, and their brains can be studied.
Brown gave his own take on what CTE means to him. “I don’t want to say it’s brain damage because you can’t live if it’s brain damage,” he said. He believes people misinterpret CTE as just being about concussions. “We had a bunch of concussions. You could live after a concussion,” he added.
For Brown, CTE is more about the trauma players face growing up in the sport.
“As a kid, you just become more aggressive. You develop anger. We all grow with our trauma,” Brown said.
With both players opening up about the unknowns they’re facing after years on the field, it’s a real look at how football impacts them mentally.

Their journey kicked off with an interesting story as the two ladies were raised separately in New Zealand and California. After discovering each other later on in life, Robin and Andréa realized they both shared a passion for wine.
After launching the McBride Sisters Collection, the sisters vowed to “create their own wine traditions, and place women, culture, cuisine, taste, and lifestyle at the center of the wine experience.” Since then, the McBride sisters have released Black Girl Magic wines, that debuted at Essence Fest during Mayor Cantrell’s opening party. Robin and Andréa has also launched SHE CAN wines for those who aren’t looking to overindulge.

The first recorded Black winemaker in Oregon, Bertony Faustin, founded Abbey Creek Vineyard in 2008 after proclaiming his abstinence from alcohol. Located in the west hills of Portland Oregon, Abbey Creek was named after the creek that runs through the property. Originally, the first vines planted on the property were from Dr. Robert & Sandra Simmons as a “tax deferral.” However, years later, Bertony planted 7 additional acres of grapes after losing his father and created Abbey Creek Vineyards in 2008. In 2015, Bertony filmed “Red, White, & Black” documentary that shines a spotlight on Oregon’s Black winemakers.

Founded by Phil Long, Longevity Wines is a family-operated boutique winery located in Livermore Valley, California. Phil originally started the company as a garage winemaker in 2002 but eventually turned the company into a thriving business with award-winning wines. According to its website, Longevity is inspired by the love affair he had with his now-deceased wife, Debra. Phil and Debra were an interracial couple who sought out to offer inclusive wine experiences. However, after her death, Phil chose to keep the business going and even “personally designed the delicate heart logo on their bottles, then had it tattooed on his forearm before she died so that she will always be with him.”

He launched a wildly successful rap career in the 1990s, releasing four studio albums. His debut album, “Shaq Diesel,” went platinum, featuring hit singles like “What’s Up Doc? (Can We Rock)” and “I Know I Got Skillz.” Shaq’s larger-than-life personality translated well into his music, earning him respect in the rap community. His fellow Los Angeles Lakers player, the late Kobe Bryant, also tried his hand at music. He even collaborated with Shaq on “3 X’s Dope” and lent a verse to the remix of Brian McKnight’s “Hold Me.” Though his solo album never came to fruition, Bryant still made guest appearances on other tracks, including a 1999 remix of “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child.
Damian Lillard is another NBA star who is not afraid to step into the booth. Going by the rap moniker Dame D.O.L.L.A., the Milwaukee Bucks player dropped his debut album, “The Letter O,” in 2016. He followed up with “Confirmed” in 2017, “Big D.O.L.L.A.” in 2019, “Different on Levels the Lord Allowed” in 2021, and “Don D.O.L.L.A. Life Lately Edition” in 2023.
Basketball players aren’t the only known rappers in sports. Chad Thomas, known musically as Major Nine, was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2018. As both a rapper and producer, Thomas worked with several notable names while still in the NFL, including Rick Ross, Raphael Saadiq, and Chris Brown. He has released several mixtapes, including “Soulties” in 2019, “Lil Tape II” in 2019, “Big Tape” in 2019, and “No Pain, No Glory” in 2020, to name a few.

Among the creditors is a Florida truck driver who was awarded $1.2 million after Brown failed to appear in court for an assault lawsuit. Additionally, Brown cannot pay at least three six-figure civil judgments.
Brown filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which allows businesses and individuals to reorganize their finances while being protected from creditors. The filing does not indicate any creditors from the Capital Region, the Arena Football League, or former players from the Empire who were unpaid during Brown’s tumultuous ownership.
Brown’s turbulent tenure with the Albany Empire ended shortly after the team was expelled from the National Arena League last summer. Prior to this, players and coaches threatened to sue Brown after discovering their paychecks were withdrawn from their bank accounts.
Brown also owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in credit card debt and $296 to a South Florida plumber. He lists Avanti Solutions as a creditor owed $28,589 for work related to his appearance at the “Rolling Loud” hip-hop concert in Los Angeles, according to Fox Sports. KCB Marketing, based in Miami Shores, sued Brown in 2021 for unpaid commissions on over $2 million in earnings, the Tampa Bay Times reported.
In the bankruptcy filing, Brown claims assets of $50,000 or less. The filing does not address the complex web of trusts and organizations linked to Brown under the name Antonio El-Allah. A 2023 Times Union report highlighted conflicting statements by Brown and documents signed by El-Allah, a supposed trustee, about the ownership of the Empire.
Brown’s address in the bankruptcy filing is listed as an 18,000-square-foot, 12-bedroom, 14-bathroom mansion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He had briefly negotiated to buy the Palazzo Riggi estate in Saratoga Springs during his ill-fated ownership of the Empire.
Brown’s bankruptcy lawyer was unavailable for immediate comment on Wednesday.
On Monday, Brown announced his bankruptcy filing in a post on X, formerly Twitter. The clip begins with a scene from “The Office” before cutting to Brown running out of a house and waving his arms in a backyard.

The rivalry escalated dramatically in 1999 when 50 Cent, on the cusp of fame, was shot nine times in a life-threatening incident shortly after signing with Columbia Records. As he recovered, rumors circulated that Diddy and his Bad Boy label were somehow linked to the attack, fueling a bitter standoff with accusations about Bad Boy’s involvement in the shooting.
The tensions climaxed in 2005, marked by public disputes and a series of diss tracks. Known for his confrontational approach, 50 Cent launched verbal assaults on Diddy, accusing him of exploiting the music industry for personal gain. In response, Diddy issued denials and defended his status in hip-hop. Their feud played out musically, with 50 Cent’s “Piggy Bank” taking direct aim at Diddy, who countered with “The Checkmate,” flaunting his financial success and questioning 50 Cent’s integrity.
Despite the harsh exchanges and lyrical battles, there were brief periods of détente. Both artists occasionally extended olive branches through public statements, though these moments of peace were fleeting and overshadowed by ongoing animosity.
The conflict reached a peak in 2007 during a physical altercation at a Las Vegas party hosted by Diddy. A heated argument reportedly escalated into a scuffle before security stepped in, underscoring the volatile nature of their relationship.
Over time, the animosity between Diddy and 50 Cent has cooled as they focused on their individual projects and ventures. However, 50 Cent revived the feud, mocking Diddy on social media following federal raids on Diddy’s homes related to a sex trafficking investigation. Leveraging his penchant for stirring controversy, 50 Cent posted a series of provocative memes and comments about Diddy’s legal troubles.
Reflecting on their history, the feud between 50 Cent and Diddy resembles a heavyweight bout in the rap world, driven by clashing personalities, power, and pride rather than just musical rivalry.
