A Lack Of A Prenup Puts $137 Billion On The Line In Jeff Bezos Divorce; Alleged Relationship With Former TV News Anchor May Have Led to Split

Jaws dropped when Jeff Bezos’s assets, following the announcement of his divorce, went public. But now, things are looking messier by the minute with the discovery of his new lady friend.

Jeff and soon-to-be ex-wife, MacKenzie, used Twitter to house the official announcement of their divorce after 25 years of marriage. A major shock came when it was realized that she may have the opportunity to walk away with half of her ex-hubby’s assets since they didn’t have a prenup. While she might run away with some dough, Bezos will be walking away with his new girlfriend.

At least that’s what The National Inquirer reported. Apparently, there has been a four-month-long look into the relationship between the Amazon founder and Lauren Sanchez that could have allegedly led to the split. Here’s the kicker! The former Fox L.A. TV anchor and helicopter pilot is also married. Sanchez got hitched to Hollywood talent agent, Patrick Whitesell, in 2005. Not to mention, they were social friends with the Bezoes! Fast forward to today, the couple has also coincidentally filed for divorce.

The report believes the Bezo divorce was announced so soon because pictures of the tech CEO and mother of two (with Whitesell) at the Golden Globes and Amazon afterparty would eventually it the tabloids.

Facing infidelity publicly or privately can be emotionally draining. But don’t worry, MacKenzie! Those hundreds of billions can wipe those tears.
