Blac Chyna.. the rapper?
It’s no secret Blac Chyna has been referenced on some big tracks from Young Money’s, Drake & Nicki Minaj. Chyna recently invited Daily Mail TV inside her home, where she announced that she is launching a rap career— hopefully with some help from Drake.
The 30-year-old mother of two sat down for a two-part interview where she shared parts of her life journey, including stripping as a teen, her experience meeting Drake, to living in a luxurious Hollywood home.
The former dancer also addressed the Kardashians, shooting down claims that she used them for any type of fame.
“I was already famous before then,” Chyna insists. ‘I already was [a celebrity], even back in D.C., I took over that, went to Miami and I was a celebrity down there. Came to LA, same thing. I kind of ran all three states and I’m actually kind of proud of that.”
Chyna focused the interview on her desire to become relevant in the music industry, claiming her music is “kind of fire,” and even suggesting Drake could help her. She also shared her hopes of having more children, telling Daily Mail she would like two more babies.
She revealed that she is setting up a small studio in her home, and Drake could be the one to bring her on since he originally put her in the map.
“Drake you know put me in a song,” she says. Drake mentioned Chyna in his song, ”Miss Me, ” rapping: “Call up King of Diamonds and tell Chyna it’ll be worth the flight.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chyna is definitely a rookie to the rap game, and it seems like her vision is still in the planning stages. “I just want to test all my boundaries to see if I can actually kind of do it,” she told Daily Mail.
“My music is actually kind of fire. I have a little bit of singing, a little bit of rapping and I have a little love song,” she says. It’s safe to assume no one knew singing love songs was on Chyna’s list of talents.
“We are just testing it out right now. I’m not about to throw myself out there. [I want to] make sure everything is in line,” Chyna added. As far as the Drake collaboration, she said, “I’d be like Drake, you put me on that first time, maybe we could do a little 2.0. I would love that.”
Chyna first met Drake when she was stripping in Miami. She says she moved in Florida to pursue going to college, but while dancing at the club, some guys introduced her to Drake, which led to her being discovered.
“I actually had a booking and I think it was in Tennessee. These guys introduced me to Drake, and Drake you know put me in a song and I started doing all the music videos and the magazines,” Chyna says.
It was through Drake that Chyna met Tyga. The two began a relationship and soon after Chyna became pregnant with their son, King Cairo. Though Chyna says she wanted things to work out with Tyga, she’s okay they didn’t.
“Of course I wanted to be with him and wanted to be together but sometimes things happen and there’s nothing wrong with that,” she said. “People grow and have differences and there’s nothing wrong with that at all. What’s most important is that he makes sure King is straight and I make sure King is fine and we have a healthy and happy home for him.”
Chyna insists she is working on herself saying, “I would consider myself a celebrity, which is like a celebrated person. So, it’s up to you to make me this person.”
Chyna also shared that with two kids, she does get “extra help,” and there is no shame in doing so.
“You know I had a body, [so] why not. I wanted some money and I wanted to have nice things.
‘Within two years I had two cars, I had a dog. I was paying for my grandma, my mom, doing all this stuff, buying nice clothes. I ended up getting my own place. A two bedroom condo.”
When asked if she would ever reconcile with Rob Kardashian, father of her daughter, Dream, Chyna said, “Yes. Maybe. We’ll see? Ok?”
For now, Chyna seems to be having her fun.
