BERNIE MAC DIES AT AGE 50 FROM COMPLICATIONS OF PNEUMONIA

“Wherever I am, I have to play…I have to put on a good show.”

If you love comedy, chances are, you’re not in the best of moods this morning. Comedian, Bernie Mac, passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia. The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body’s organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease.

His set on the Original Kings of Comedy will forever stand out in my mind. “I want some milk & cookies…” LMAO, gut-wrenching hilarious. I can only imagine the pain Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, & D.L. Hughley are feeling. Its a sad day. As I’m writing this, all the random funny moments of Bernie Mac are popping in my head.

Its sad to see him go, especially at the age of 50. May he rest in peace.
