Britney Spears’ Advisors Feared She’d ‘Be Dead’ Without Seeking Treatment

Britney Spears’ team has been worried about the pop icon’s mental health, according to The Blast.

In the midst of preparing for her second Vegas residency, Britney’s postponed her ”Domination” show to tend to her father’s heath. But now, sources say Spears has been dealing with her own health issues. Apparently, her behavior has been similarly close to the infamous breakdown she had back in 2008. The Blast reported her life has been “‘out of control’ and that she was in no position, due to her mental health, to handle the workload or perform.”

A source went on to reveal that the singer has fallen back on taking her medication and has taken the wrong amounts of her prescribed pills. Also, the move to check into the treatment facility was not because Spears was upset over her father’s colon issues. Sources say It actually fell on Brittney’s father to make the decision to admit her after watching her mental “deterioration.” A decision she was completely against. The source went on to admit that “she would be dead” if she wasn’t brought in.

That’s not all. The source also spilled that most of the spiral has been due to people not taking heed to her mental state while planning her daily schedules. A big problem was the fact that there has been too much work and freedom given to the pop star.  Without any balance, her downfall would have been inevitable.

A release date has not been confirmed. However, trained health professionals will be aiding her seven days a week with a “cocktail of medications” to keep her stable.
