Senator Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) did nothing but further speculation about whether she will be running for president in the 2020 election this week on “The Late Show.”
Show host Stephen Colbert directly asked Harris if she would be running for president in 2020, to which she replied, “I might,” while laughing. Colbert replied, “That’s it. Alright, there you go! There’s your headline right there.”
Colbert addressed the rumor that Harris May announce her candidacy on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 21st) but the politician curved the question and instead noted, “We should always honor the great Dr. Martin Luther King.” Which are facts!
