For the past four weeks, the Kardashian klan has dominated headlines over the drama between Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, and Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. But, between the backlash over bullying and the hypocrisy of the entire situation, the Kardashians’ alleged attempt to destroy their former family friend backfired.
The outrage over the attempt even forced Khloe to walk back a few comments she made about Woods, and direct her energy toward her baby daddy. After that, news surfaced of Khloe’s frustration with Thompson’s “lack of interest” in seeing their daughter, as sources said the socialite was convinced he’d moved on.
However, amid backlash over those claims, Khloe took to Twitter to defend Tristan’s parenting, adding that their daughter “will never be put in the middle” of her relationship with Thompson. However, that too, sent fans over the edge, as many highlighted the contradictions in her statements. Even former NBA player, Gilbert Arenas, chimed in on the drama, speaking in Thompson’s defense.
“OMG the contradiction here,” Arenas said. “U wrote just last week Tristan doesn’t want to spend time with his daughter. U wanted the public to bash him for not wanting to spend time with his daughter…what u left out was (HES IN SEASON) so there’s no way he can spend time with her….so u should have just said…(i wanted to fly True out to see him, and he rejected ME) becuz we all know u ain’t letting True fly with anyone else to go see her daddy. He rejected seeing u NOT seeing True. Stop using the child as the narrative to get around ur ex. We get it u still want him back but just stop using the baby.”
Arenas’ comments come days after Khloe shared a photo of baby True in Travis Scott’s Astroworld merch that read, “Wish you were here,” which she posted one day after Thompson’s birthday.
Coincidence or nah?
