Former Washington Wizards player, Javaris Crittenton is involved in violent legal drama again. Allegedly, the unfortunate person at the end of his gun this time was an innocent woman.
Crittenton played for the Wizards in 2009 and made headlines when he and team mate Gilbert Arenas were suspended after getting into an altercation that lead to both parties drawing guns in the locker room.
This time authorities believe that Crittenton is involved in the drive by shooting of a 22 year old Atlanta mother of four named Jullian James. It is believed that she was not the intended target. It is believed that this was retaliation for a April 21st robbery in which Crittenton had many valuables, including his NBA ring taken from him. He had been in the area asking questions about the robbery and this along with other evidence lead the police to confidently believe that Crittenton was the shooter.
The FBI has made arrangements to bring Crittenton in. Let’s hope he wasn’t really stupid enough to do a drive by over something as silly as stolen jewelry. The odds don’t look good. My condolences to the family of the innocent bystander that had to die over such stupidity.
