Kendall & Kylie Tees Pulled From PacSun

Island Company, which was founded in 2002, took PacSun and the Jenner sisters to court over t-shirts using their trademark phrases. Island Company holds a trademark for the phrases “Quit Your Job, Buy A Ticket, Get A Tan, Fall in Love and Never Return” if printed on specific items of clothing. Earlier this year Kendall & Kylie revealed the tees from their PacSun line which read, “Run away. Fall in love. Never return.” According to the company, the use of this phrase by The Jenners/PacSun would  cause ‘confusion and deception among consumers,’  so they wanted the shirts out of the stores.

It appears that PacSun will have to comply after a judge heard the case a few weeks ago.

“The parties have settled this matter and PacSun has removed all existing shirts from its stores,” a source says.

Kendall and Kylie can still sell the remainder of their collection at the retailer, so it isn’t all bad.
