Nipsey Hussle’s last #VictoryLap will be taken around the city of Los Angeles before he is sent off to the kingdom of heaven.
Nipsey’s funeral procession will visit the neighborhoods and areas in Los Angeles that were pivotal in Nipsey’s life. According to sources close to Nipsey, one of the landmarks the procession will visit is the hip hop artist’s Marathon Clothing store where he was fatally shot.
The procession will cover 25 miles as it travels through South Los Angeles after the memorial service on Thursday at the Staples Center. The procession will start following his celebration of life funeral service, where more than 21,000 seats are available. Nipsey’s family reportedly chose this procession route so Nipsey’s fans will be able to say goodbye for the last time.
The procession is said to be about an hour and a half long and will end at the funeral home in the Crenshaw district. Nipsey Hussle’s celebration of life will take place on April 11th, and will begin at 10:00 a.m; doors will open at 8:00 a.m. at the Staples Center arena in downtown Los Angeles.
