We posted a video of Lil Boosie performing at SOB’s in New York, shortly before throwing up on stage and having to cut his show short. Today Boosie takes time out to apologize to fans and explain what happened.
Boosie was set to perform for the first time ever in New York. Upon arriving, Boosie had a full day of meetings with media and interviews. According to the Baton Rouge legend, a mix up with his diabetes medicine caused him to become ill on stage later that night. Somehow his bags ended up in Philadelphia when they were supposed to be with him in New York. Without his medication, Boosie was only able to make it through one song before getting sick in front of all of his fans.
Boosie has since gotten his meds and continued his tour, hitting Nebraska afterwords. So far there haven’t been any other incidences. “S**t happens when you have diabetes but I feel good now,” says Boosie.
