Man Wakes Up To Find His Penis Has Been Cut Off

After a night of drinking, a man woke up to find his penis had been removed.

Tan Nan spent a night out with friends in Hunan, southern China, and ending up drinking so much that he went to sleep in public.

The next morning, Nan woke up to a sharp pain in his groin. That’s when he noticed his genitals had been chopped off. Nan informed police that he has no idea who would commit such a crime.

According to the Sanxiang Metropolis Daily, the 44-year-old from Huaihua, Hunan, was severely bleeding, but several hospitals reportedly turned him away as they were not equipped for that type of operation. Reports show the man then went to Changsha Hospital and was treated by microsurgery experts.Dr. Wu Panfeng, who treated Nan, said parts of the body that have been amputated should be kept in a dry, refrigerated manner. Nan’s penis was successfully reattached after seven hours of surgery. Now he is recovering and doing well, medical officials said. Police are investigating the incident.
