Method Man and Redman Reportedly Not Cast In “How High” Sequel

Looks like the “How High” sequel, starring Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly, will do without its original lead for the made-for-TV follow-up.

According to TMZ, Method Man and Redman have not been cast in the new and improved stoner comedy, as the new film will be “fundamentally different” from the prequel.

However, “How High 2” will still draw inspiration from the original, especially since Yachty’s character is set to be the younger brother of one of the original leads.

Alongside Yachty and DC, Alyssa Goss of “The Bobby Brown Story,” DeRay Davis and Mary Lynn Rajskub of “Nigh School,” are also set to star in the film. While, Nene Leakes, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Cynthia Bailey and Lil Baby will make guest appearances.

Though Method and Red were not cast, there is still a chance that the two make a cameo in the sequel, especially since Shauna Garr, one of the original producers have signed on for the new film.
