The NBA and Sacramento Kings have decided to join forces in looking into allegations surrounding their new head coach.
Former Spectrum SportsNet host, Kelli Tennant, accused Luke Walton of sexually assaulting her back in 2014. Kelli claims the incident happened in a Santa Monica hotel room by the then-assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, but, at the time, concerns for her career kept her from coming forward.
The pair decided to work together on Tennant’s book by having Walton write the foreword. Apparently, she followed him to his room to handle official business when he allegedly forced a kiss and groped her.
The former Lakers player-turned-coach has denied the claims, but both the league and the Kings organization are taking the allegations seriously.
