Serena Williams To Return To Competitive Tennis Next Month

After a minor hiccup in her premature return to Tennis last month, Serena Williams is officially ready to bounce back.

Alongside her sister Venus Williams and CoCo Vandeweghe, Williams will return to competitive tennis next month at the Fed Cup.

According to the U.S.A Today, the Williams sisters will be among the Team USA roster in the best-of-five match series against the Netherlands. The competition kicks off in Asheville, North Carolina on Feb. 10.

The forthcoming Fed Cup will be Williamsā€™ first competitive tournament since the 2017 Australian Open, which she won while she was pregnant. Although she passed up on 2018 Australian Open after losing against French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko in December, it appears Willams is finally the right headspace to compete at a high level after giving birth to her baby girl in September.
