T.I. Drops His Appeal Against The IRS Over More Than $6 Million in Unpaid Taxes

In the longstanding legal battle between T.I. and the IRS, the rapper has reportedly moved to settle the dispute once and for all.

According to the @blast, T.I. has been in a legal squabble with the IRS over $6,211,424.76 in unpaid taxes. At first, the IRS said they would take T.I.’s assets in an effort to pay off the debt, but both the King of the South and his wife, Tiny, filed docs to have the decision reviewed by the IRS. However, the couple’s motion was rejected and dismissed over a missed deadline, which the couple blamed on the delivery service in their appeal.

Since then though, the couple moved to dismiss their side of the legal issue altogether, as their lawyer discussed the decision with the IRS. In turn, the case was closed but the tax liens have remained active. But, according to the @blast, the rapper may be settling the legal issue out of court.
