Tekashi69 Denied Bail, Will Stay In Jail Until Extradition To Houston

Fresh off his international tour, #Tekashi69 has been ordered to complete an extended stay in the big house ahead of his extradition to Houston.

The Brooklyn-bred rapper was arrested upon landing in New York on Wednesday on an outstanding warrant in Texas for allegedly choking a teenager in the Galleria. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The following day, Tekashi stood before a judge and begged for mercy, claiming he had learned from his mistakes.

But, a judge cited the rapper’s recent European tour, as well as his plea deal in his child sex case, which requires him to stay out of trouble, as two main reasons to deny bail and hold him until his next hearing.

Now, Tekashi will have to remain behind bars until at least July 20, ahead of his extradition.
