Tinashe Responds To Chris Brown’s Comments After She Defended Kehlani (VIDEO)

A week ago, Kehlani made headlines when she threatened to harm herself after rumors of her cheating on Kyrie Irving with PartyNextDoor hit the internet. Everyone had an opinion on the subject, including Chris Brown who made it pretty clear he was Team Kyrie.

Singers Tinashe and Zendaya were just a couple of the young celebs that defended Kehlani against Chris Brown’s comments. They even went as far as to unfollow him on Twitter. Chris responded to them by saying, “They called and needed my help, not the other way around. I’ve been around for a bit, so these celebrities fade out musically if they aren’t original or let’s face it actually talented.”

While making her ‘Joyride’ tour stop in the Bay Area Tuesday night, Tinashe stopped by 106 KMEL where the subject of Chris Brown’s comments inevitably came up. When asked if she and Chris were friends, Tinashe says that they are in a loose sense, more like associates who greet each other when they see each other. She also says that she wasn’t exactly offended by what Chris said on Instagram. “I just kind of laughed it off,” she tells Shay Diddy. “I felt like it was just so unnecessary. I was just like, whatever.”

Tinashe goes on to say that she’s not the type to talk smack over social media. “No, why? That’s just so unnecessary. It’s petty. What’s the benefit?”

Tinashe says it’s “not even worth it” to call Chris over the whole thing. “It’s not a big deal to me. I don’t think that follows on Twitter are a big deal. I have absolutely nothing against him, we’re on good terms as far as I know.”
