Wendy Williams Announces “Planned Hiatus” Following The Birth of Husband’s Alleged Love Child

Earlier this month, Wendy Williams returned to her namesake talk show after a two-month long hiatus, plagued by rumors and reports of self-medication, drug abuse, and marital issues. Now, just three weeks later, the veteran host has announced, yet, another break, following reports of the birth of Kevin Hunter’s alleged love child.

On Wednesday’s show, after Williams’ sit down with Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka, the host announced the previously “planned break,” in which she will be taking a week off for spring break. Although Williams acknowledged fans’ frustrations, she promised to return for live tapings on April 8.

The news of Williams’ “planned” hiatus comes just two days after the host was found “passed out” drunk on Monday after her show. “Apparently, he came clean to her,” a source told BOSSIP, alleging Williams’ recent relapse and hospitalization was a direct result of Hunter admitting that Sharina Hudson had recently given birth.

“But, what’s clean when so much has already come out in the press,” the source continued, adding that Williams is now considering her options, but still reluctant to leave her husband and business partner. “She thinks she’s winning because he’s with her for a few hours.”

“If Wendy had friends, they would have taken care of this a long time ago,” the source added. “She is a functional alcoholic.”
