Michael Moore, who directed and produced Fahrenheit 9/11, the 2004 documentary that looked into George W. Bush’s War on Terror, is turning his sights on to Donald Trump.
According to Variety, Moore is working on “Fahrenheit 11/9,” a documentary beginning the day Trump was declared president, and Bob and Harvey Weinstein have purchased the rights to the film. Moore, who predicted in June that Trump would win Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania in the election, has reconnected with his Fahrenheit 9/11 team of directors and producers. According to the filmmaker, this film will be what finally takes Trump down.
“No matter what you throw at him, it hasn’t worked,” says Moore. “No matter what is revealed, he remains standing. Facts, reality, brains cannot defeat him. Even when he commits a self-inflicted wound, he gets up the next morning and keeps going and tweeting. That all ends with this movie.”
Considering how well “Fahrenheit 9/11” was received, will you be tuning in to “Fahrenheit 11/9”?
