Big Meech is confronting a new legal dispute after a Florida woman filed a paternity lawsuit seeking confirmation that he is her biological father through court-ordered DNA testing.
Court records show Beyla Richard-Flenory submitted the case in December, alleging she has long believed that Meech, born Demetrius Flenory Sr., is her father. She is asking the court to authorize genetic testing to determine parentage.
In the filing, Richard-Flenory said years of uncertainty and continued denials have caused significant emotional distress. She also stated that previous attempts to contact members of the Flenory family brought mixed responses, with some expressing support while others appeared dismissive.
Richard-Flenory said she is not pursuing financial support or any monetary award. Instead, she told the court she wants truth, acknowledgment, and the dignity that comes with a clear legal determination.
Alan Soven, an attorney representing Meech, said his client denies the allegation but has agreed to DNA testing. According to the attorney, both parties are prepared to move forward with a genetic examination that could settle the matter conclusively.
Big Meech became nationally known as a founder of the Black Mafia Family, an organization later tied to federal drug trafficking prosecutions. In recent years, renewed public attention surrounding his life and legacy has grown through television dramatizations and hip-hop culture references.
The lawsuit now places focus on a private family matter rather than entertainment headlines. If testing proceeds, the results could provide a final answer and bring closure to a dispute that has reportedly remained unresolved for years.
