Tiffany Haddish just bagged her very first Emmy!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Haddish has been on the move, gracing us with her humor in hit projects like “Girls Trip,” “The Last O.G,” “The Carmichael Show” and more.

But it was her guest star performance on “Saturday Night Live” that won her the gold. During the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, the actress took home her first Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for hosting “Saturday Night Live.” Haddish’s competitors were SNL alums Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph and Tina Fey.

In the show’s 43 seasons, Haddish was the first Black female stand-up comic to host the show. She and Dave Chappelle are now the only two Black comedians to win the award. During her set, Haddish tackled several issues like Hollywood’s sexual misconduct and harassment scandals, and mentioned her dislike for fashion’s rule of not wearing clothing more than once at public events.

The 70th Creative Arts Emmy Awards were a two-day event that took place on Sept. 8 and 9, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Entertainment Tonight reports a telecast of the awards will air Saturday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX.
