Omarosa Manigault Newman has released a new tape of #DonaldTrump asking if “Russia seems to have turned around.”
The newly leaked tape is from an October White House Communications meeting where you can hear Trump asking his staff if “Russia seems to have turned around.” To which White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responds, “Absolutely.”
This new video comes amid Omarosa’s series of leaked videos and claims that Trump and his administration lied about Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential campaign. Omarosa came onto ABC’s “The View” claiming Trump’s workers would defend everything he says.
“We’d have to repeat those lies,” Omarosa told the panel. Omarosa claims Trump “crashed” the meeting which was supposed to be about tax reform and a trip to North Korea and instead changed the subject to other issues. In the meeting, Trump attacked #HillaryClinton in regards to her allegedly spending $9 million on an anti-Trump dossier that alleges a relationship between Trump and Russia during the 2016 presidential election. You can hear Trump say, “I think Hillary is getting killed with Russia. The real Russia story is Hillary and collusion. Somebody told me, Hope, you told me it was $9 million they spent on the phony report.” Sanders responds, “Closer to six.”
Omarosa admitted to the daytime talk show that she was a “co-conspirator.” “Hillary Clinton was robbed, and I was a part of a co-conspirator in that robbery,” she said. Omarosa says she was nervous about releasing the tapes because Trump was trying to “shut [her] down.” “He has sicked his entire legal team on me to stop any further release of tapes,” she said. “He wants to make sure that I’m silenced, so I don’t talk about the bribe that Laura trump tried to offer me for $15,000 per month. They want to shut me down, and so every time like the announcement that I was coming on, my attorney who is backstage got a phone call from his legal team.”
