We’ve posted about boxer Rock Blackwell quite a few times and now it appears he’s got some new things up his sleeve. Aside from his upcoming trip to orphanages in Cameroon, the WBU Boxing champ is also expecting to broadcast his fights in more homes than ever.Â
Blackwell, a Baltimore, MD native, began boxing at the age of seven and had a very impressive amateur career, going 156-28 before turning professional and fighting overseas. He had a 15-0 pro record as a light heavyweight internationally fighting in the IBL (Spain, Scotland, Great Britain) and is now boxing under the traditional Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC) in the United States.
Upon returning to the  United States he was ranked 10th in the world by the WBU and IBU (World Boxing Union and the International Boxing Union). Recently Blackwell has began training and learning from the all time great Floyd Mayweather Jr at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, enlisting the legendary Floyd Sr as his head coach.Â
