The legal fight between LeSean McCoy and his ex girlfriend Delicia has a new voice in it.
Back in July, Delicia accused the Buffalo Bills running back of orchestrating a home invasion at his Georgia home that left her injured. A month later, she filed a lawsuit seeking damages against McCoy and a former college teammate, according to ESPN. McCoy has denied her allegations, and the two sides have traded accusations ever since.
Now, according to TMZ, Stephanie, the mother of McCoy’s 6 year old son, has filed documents in the case in support of Delicia’s side.
In the filing, Stephanie claims that the day before the incident she overheard McCoy on the phone saying he needed to get Delicia out of his house. She also claims that after the incident McCoy reached out and offered a deal. According to Stephanie, he would ease up in their custody case and let her enroll their son in school in Miami if she publicly defended his character. She says she allowed a friend of McCoy’s to post positive things on his behalf, but now wants to take it back.
“I regret ever agreeing to help LeSean McCoy in this case,” Stephanie wrote in her statement. She also alleges that McCoy has mistreated their son, and she shared her concerns on Instagram.
McCoy has since fired back, denying all of Stephanie’s allegations. He also shared videos showing positive moments with his son. These are claims made in court filings and on social media, and none of them have been proven.
