Just hours after Bill Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison for sexual assault, news surfaced of even more bad news for the disgraced comedian.
According to TMZ, Cosby is on the hook for more than $282k in unpaid legal bills, in addition to another $25k fine in the sexual assault case and other fees.
Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis filed a lawsuit against the comedian earlier this month, accusing Cosby of holding out on a big check. However, at the time, the details were scarce.
But now, in new legal documents obtained by the publication, Cosby’s former law firm has outlined the comedian’s debt between August 2017 and August 2018, which total $282,948.40, to be exact.
