After many years spent in the rap game, Joe Budden has recently made a successful shift to the journalist side of music.
With his early experience in broadcasting, the retired rapper is known for his massive opinion and often called the “Howard Stern of Hip Hop.”
“While flattering, I don’t necessarily view Howard as a ceiling,” he said, adding, “Howard does Howard. I guess we’re similar in that regard cause Joe does Joe. Like always. And that is what is special about Howard is he didn’t care who he was warring against. Though its flattering and that comparison is made, even if it’s false, it’s early on. I’m only two-three years into a broadcasting career, like fully. It feels good,” HipHopDX reports.
Similarly, it’s no secret that Budden doesn’t care who he is warring against either. After Budden critiquing Eminem’s last album, ”Revival,” it seems as if the MC was still unsettled about the comments due to his dedicated bars on his ”Kamikaze” album.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to Budden, two bars aren’t enough to pull him out of retirement. “I don’t feel like anybody really deserves that. When Joe Budden was ‘relevant’ he just had that passion. Nobody said anything to Joe Budden.”
