Miko Grimes Released On $10,500 Bond

Yesterday Miko Grimes, wife of Miami Dolphins corner Brent Grimes, was arrested following the Dolphins-Bills game. She was released from Miami-Dade County correctional facility at 1:04am Monday morning after posting $10,500 bond.

Grimes was confronted by police officers after they say she ignored orders not to walk in a restricted area. At some point the situation escalated and Grimes allegedly headbut an officer and almost got tasered. Grimes was arrested and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct. Video footage caught by a bystander showed Grimes’ arrest where she could be heard yelling for an officer to get off of her leg. She was treated for injuries to her right arm, knee and forearm at the correctional facility. 

Grimes is known to be pretty outspoken online. She’s gotten into many profanity-laced battles with fans on Twitter. She’s even referred to herself as a daily shit talker. Since her release from jail, she’s deleted her Twitter account and the thousands of tweets and followers that came with it. 

Miko’s husband Brent has yet to speak on the arrest.
