Start planning now because Coachella’s 2019 lineup could be just as incredible as the last.
If you remember, last years headliners Beyoncé, Eminem, and The Weeknd set a Coachella record for the first time in the festival’s 19-year history without a rock headliner. This year, HITS Daily Double reports that the line up will feature Childish Gambino on Friday, Timberlake on Saturday, and Kanye on Sunday.
Donald Glover, fresh off a foot injury he received on tour, confirmed that his upcoming project will be his last as Childish Gambino. The release date is still tentative but will likely drop just in time for his Coachella performance.
Timberlake is expected to perform songs off his latest album, Man Of The Woods, as well as his extensive catalog of over two decades of hits. Who knows— maybe we’ll even get a couple tracks from NSYNC. (You were thinking it too, don’t lie.)
For Kanye’s set, he has an array of new music he could choose from. Yandi, his newest project is set to drop November 23, Black Friday, and his self-titled album ”Ye” was released earlier this year. He also has plenty of guests who could join him considering he’s worked on some of the biggest albums this year like Nasir, KTSE, Kids See Ghosts, and Daytona. West hasn’t headlined Coachella in 8 years which in 2011 he co-headlined with Kings Of Leon, Arcade Fire, and The Strokes.
Hopefully, West’s recent Pro-Trump comments don’t deter fans who’ve already purchased tickets.
Those who were lucky enough to snag tickets should feel lucky, this year’s tickets were said to have sold out in less than three hours.
