An Atlanta woman has filed a lawsuit against Rich The Kid to establish paternity and child support for her a five-year-old she claims he fathered.
In court documents obtained by @bossipofficial, the California Department of Child Support Services sued the “Plug Walk” rapper on behalf of Candis Watts over her claims of paternity.
According to Watts, her daughter D’Jean Watts was born in 2013, as a product of her relationship with Rich, which she said was plagued with “dysfunction and toxicity.”
”We met in Atlanta in 2011,” Watts said in her documents. “Inseparable for majority (sic) of our relationship. There were many fallouts but always ended up back together. My family and his family can attest to the dysfunction and toxicity of relationship and the negligence on [Rich The Kid’s] behalf.”
As she continued, Watts said Rich missed the birth, but later visited her in the hospital and admitted to being her daughter’s father. She said he even allowed the girl to stay with his family for three months while Watts dealt with “financial hardship.”
However, according to the publication, Rich’s name is not on the birth certificate, and although he did offer to pay for an abortion, he hasn’t offered to pay for any of the baby’s medical bills.
But now, Watts wants Rich to just acknowledge that the baby is his and to cough up some consistent cash for child support, especially since she only makes $2,000 a month and has another son to care for.
“Last ‘payment’ I received was Feb. 6, 2018 for $800 and the time before that he had his wife send me $420 in or around March-April 2017 so my car would not be repo’d (sic) Before that, I cannot recall a time when he sent child support.”
Rich has yet to respond to the suit, but in the meantime, the rapper, who is estranged with his wife Antonette, is dating Tori Brixx, and according to Bossip, the two are reportedly expecting their first child together.
