Tekashi69 is looking to get his assault case tossed after the victim in the incident showed up to court to support him.
Back in May, Houston officials issued a warrant for 6ix9ine’s arrest after a 16-year-old accused him of choking him out over a cell phone recording.
At the time, according to TMZ, Santiago Albarran said he ran into the rainbow-haired rapper at the Galleria and started recording him. That’s when 6ix9ine demanded Albarran delete the video and then proceeded to wrap his hands around his neck.⠀⠀⠀⠀
But now, after five months of legal back and forth, Albarran has offered his support to get the rapper off the hook.⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Albarran showed up for the rapper’s hearing in Houston on his own accord. Although he didn’t speak much during the hearing, he did say he didn’t want to see the rapper be prosecuted.
However, according to TMZ, Albarran’s request doesn’t seem to have any bearing on the case. But, on the bright side, at least the two have settled their differences.
