Kylie Jenner has gotten herself into another legal battle with a makeup artist who claims the socialite stole the name and products of her cosmetic line.
Sheree Cosmetics is suing Jenner and her company Kylie Cosmetics for allegedly stealing its “Born to Sparkle” makeup line. According to documents TMZ obtained, Sheree has her own collection called “Born to Sparkle,” and Kylie’s “Born to Sparkle” line features eyeshadow with colors and packaging that slightly mimic Sheree’s.
In Jenner’s line, which debuted on Aug. 6, it includes lipstick, lip gloss, lip liner and glitter eyes. The “Born to Sparkle” eyeshadow is also a part of the package deal. Sheree filed a trademark on August 30, 2018; this may open up leeway for the lawsuit to be dropped since it may be difficult to prove Jenner was at fault.
Sheree is suing the 21-year-old for unspecified damages. Jenner has yet to respond.
