Cleveland Cavaliers Tickets Resold For $2 Ahead of Tip-Off Against The Nets

LeBron James’ decision to leave his hometown team for the second time in his career was bittersweet, but for most King James fans, it was a relief. Between his beef with Dan Gilbert, his struggling co-stars and the team’s losing record to the Golden State Warriors, some would say the departure was inevitable.

But now, upon Bron’s departure, it appears the fans have jumped on the first thing smokin’ to the West Coast, leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers with ticket sales as low as $2.

According to TMZ, the team faced off against the Brooklyn Nets on their home court on Wednesday, in the second home game of the season. Although neither franchise has high hopes for the season, according to the publication, the ticket reflected that on Wednesday.

On the ticket sale and resale service launched by Dan Gilbert, nosebleed seats were being resold for as little as $2, an hour and a half before tip-off, while the cheapest tickets for the Lakers are currently going for $80 without service fees.

Good news is, if you’re a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, you won’t have to break the bank to see the boys play.
