The Turning Point USA’s Young Black Leadership Summit, which is an event centered around the minds of America’s young, black conservatives, was this weekend and the organization’s director, Candace Owens, was joined by Donald Trump Jr as a special guest. #KanyeWest did not attend but his presence was felt in the form of shirts he designed with Owens in an attempt to turn black people against Democrats.
Owens said West helped design T-shirts for the summit that read “Blexit” in the front, in reference to a movement that seeks to free black people from “an emotionally abusive relationship with the Democrat Party”. She said, “Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West.” She continued, “Kanye West has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have needed to have,” she claimed.
The shirt options read “Blexit” or “We Free.” And were released in various shades including orange, lavender, and teal.
