Back in July, Tekashi69 was pistol-whipped, kidnapped and robbed of almost $800k in cash and jewelry, before he managed to escape and hitchhike to a hospital. After initially reporting the incident to police, the rapper became uncooperative, making it almost impossible to complete the investigation.
But now, just four months later, federal agents have arrested the man they believe to be involved in the incident.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Anthony Jamel Ellison was arrested on Nov. 6 on a federal warrant, and since then, a grand jury has indicted him on one count of conspiracy to obstruct commerce by robbery, one count of obstructing commerce by robbery and one count of carrying a firearm to commit a crime.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, as he remains in the feds until trial.
In the meantime, sources tell TMZ, Ellison, who is a known affiliate of the 9Trey Blood gang, was part of 6ix9ine’s management team before his career kicked off.
