There is finally an update in the civil case against Nick Gordon regarding the 2015 death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter to Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford has ruled that Gordon is legally responsible for the death of his 22 year old girlfriend.
You may recall Brown was found immersed in a bathtub of water after a night of heavy drug use. In June 2015 Bobbi Kristina’s family filed a lawsuit claiming that Bobbi Kristina was a victim of ongoing domestic abuse and it was Gordon who administered a “toxic cocktail” of drugs to Brown before drowning her in the tub.
Brown was found by a female guest, unresponsive with a swollen mouth and a tooth hanging, just minutes after getting into an argument with Gordon in the Atlanta townhouse they both shared.
The Brown’s lawsuit is seeking $50 million in damages but ultimately it’s up to a jury to the amount of damages to be awarded to Bobbi Kristina’s conservator.
