Earlier this morning news broke about newly signed Dallas Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott and his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson. According to Thompson, the Cowboys running back assaulted her while in a car, despite witnesses in the vehicle saying no altercation took place.
Sources close to the situation tell a slightly different version of the events that led the woman to post images of bruises to social media. According to these sources, Elliott and Thompson broke up several weeks ago, however things went terribly wrong when Tiffany Thompson ran into Elliott’s new girlfriend in a nightclub. Tiffany Thompson and Ezekiel Elliott’s new girlfriend engaged in a physical altercation that led to Thompson’s bruising on her arms and neck. The photographs posted also show that Thompson’s knuckles were red from fighting/punching back. According to the source, Thompson even admits in text messages that she was involved in a fight and that she would be going to the police to place the blame on Ezekiel, saying she’s “not playing games”.
The photographs have since been deleted from Tiffany’s Instagram page.
Baller Alert reached out to Ezekiel’s team and received the following statement from his lawyers:
